WEEK 41 - Drama
PETRA This week has been very intense and also tiring. But I have to say I learnt a lot. We did a lot of exercises, heard a lot of theory and also reflected on everything we did which was useful. The most interesting thing we came to was the way how it’s possible to recreate a known story to tell a different meaning by using some drama tools. On Friday our groups presented drama pieces. We worked with famous fairy tales and made a drama of them. Our group decided to work on The Lads who met the trolls in the woods. We focused a lot on the story itself. But at the end it was obvious that sometimes you don’t need the whole story to tell what you need / want to tell. Some of the tools and exercises we used: + action warm-up (fitness and focus practice) + creating story together + still pictures as a storytelling + adding stuff to a story (objects in the labyrinth) + creating story based on random personal subjects + reflecting on everything we have done
